When is RecFest 2022?
Gates open from 8am & Sessions commence at 9.15am.
Evening entertainment begins at 4.30pm when the content finishes.
Content: 9.15am – 4.30pm
Entertainment and Live acts: 4.30pm – 9pm
Chilled DJ set: 5pm-6pm
NOASIS LIVE!: 6pm – 7pm
Headline DJ set: 7pm – 8.30pm
Where is RecFest 2022?
How do I get there?
We recommend if travelling via public transport to RecFest that you arrive at Stevenage Station.
Multiple Shuttle's will be running throughout the event and will be on a continuous loop between Stevenage Station and RecFest. The last service back to Stevenage is at 9.30pm. The shuttle drop off and pick up point will be by the event entrance.
What is the free Shuttle Service?
Multiple Shuttle's will be running throughout the event and will be on a continuous loop between Stevenage Station and the RecFest entrance.
The first service will begin at 07:45am and the last service back to Stevenage is at 9.30pm. The shuttle drop off and pick up point will be by the event entrance giving prompt access to the event.
What should I bring?
We recommend that you bring:
- Your ticket
- Your ID (Challenge 25 in operation)
- Water bottle (to refill at stations)
- Notebook and pen
- Comfy shoes
- Weather protection (e.g. sunscreen or a raincoat depending on the forecast)
- Phone charger bank

What do I wear?
We are in England, so please plan casual comfortable outfits for all weather types.
This event takes place in a field, and we recommend you wear comfortable and practical shoes for this environment.
If you're still planning your outfit, make sure to visit the RecFest shop!

What activities will there be alongside the content?
Throughout RecFest you'll find a host of activities, games, competitions and team building exercises to discover on the day. Once the content is finished, make sure you go around and check out what you've missed!
Is there a bar?
We will have multiple bars at RecFest in the different zones, with soft drinks, alcoholic beverages and water available to purchase.
There will also be water filling stations across the part so we recommend you bring a refillable bottle. Please note bars do not have access to facilities to be able to fill up your bottles.
Will there be places to eat?
Yes! There will be plenty of food stands at the RecFest offering a mixture of different cuisines! We will be announcing the food stands available soon!
Can I bring my own food and drink?
You are welcome to bring your own food and drink for the day, however alcohol will not be permitted from outside of the event.

How do I access the app?

How can I buy tickets?
Tickets for RecFest 2022 are now sold out, but make sure to put down your name for the waitlist in case any come available.

Is there an event map?
You can find the event map here.
Is there anywhere can I store my items?
There is no cloakroom at RecFest so we recommend you only bring as much as you are willing to carry.
If you require additional access support, please contact us at ([email protected]) or fill out the form at the bottom of the page so we can support your day at RecFest!
Will there be any seating?
At RecFest there will be places to sit, including the stages and tables across the park.
Will there be WiFi?
We will have access to WiFi on site for guests.
Is there parking on site?
There will be plenty of free parking at the event.
The car park will be found next to the Novotel at:
Old Knebworth Ln,
The car park will be signposted on the day!
If you need disabled parking, just ask our traffic management team on arrival who will be able to show you our reserved spots close to the park's entrance.
Please note there are no electric car charging stations at the car park.
Are there places I can stay nearby?
Yes, but note that many of the Stevenage hotels are booking up quickly!
Hotel recommendations: We have several hotel recommendations that are all within a 20 minute taxi journey to the event location at Knebworth Park.
When is the earliest I can arrive?
Doors will be opening at 08:00am, allowing plenty of time for introductions and checking in before the first sessions start at 09:00am
The car park will be open from 07:30am on the 7th July.
